SCANNED OUR NEGATIVES IN THE SCANNER,
SENDING THEM TO OUR EMAILS..


Using photoshop
we had a play around to figure out photoshop, and how it can change our photos.

Monoprinting...is prints that are different everytime.

Linocut printing.... JAMES GREEN.
Carving out images from lino.
create compisition first.
then transfer image onto the lino.
very small scale, a4 a3.
James rolls ink onto the carved lino
add paper over top,
(waterbased inks.)
then he uses the back of a spoon and rubs the paper.

START SKETCHING AND THINKING ABOUT MY STYLE AND PRINT, AND HOW I CAN COMBINE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH PRINTMAKING.

I LIKE THE IDEA OF LINOCUT PRINTING!!
FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHED IMAGE, I FEEL I MAYBE NEED A BUSY BACKGROUND, BUILDINGS, INCLUDING MY FUNGUS INTO THE IMAGE MAKING IT LOOK DESERTED,
THEN ADDING A PRINT MADE PICTURE...maybe ill carve out a tree... .

need to have more practise in photoshop.
maybe ask my photographer friend?
need to use s.i.t computers!!!! will have to come in on fridays.

So yesterday i experiemented with my kiwi box pinhole camera,
last photo was taken inside the arcade and was not bright enough, so this time i went outside
and decided to point towards the unbrella sculpture for my picture.

2nd attempt i opened my shutter for longer, so i doubled my time to 4minutes
FAIL
negative came out full black
 3rd attempt. i tried 2mins 
FAIL
Negative came out black......
4TH attempt.. i tried 1min 30secs
FAILED.  black
5th attempt.... 30seconds
yaaay have a little bit of a picture!!!!! so im slowley getting somewhere.

Next time im going to try 15 seconds.

I realised my pinhole is very small compared to other peoples camera pinholes.
