BREAK DOWN .. SCENES SHOTS

THUMBNAILING....
MOOD
EMOTION
POSE
CONTRAST
FOCAL
ETC

looked at doing outlined characters but just coloring the main
objects that tell the story.

Visual appeal.... rule of thirds
..the golden ratio
..using lines

horizontal... stable, calm, solid
vertical... growth, energy, power, stable.
diagonal..., dynamic,

Using shapes.... round, friendly, happy, kind
squares, rectangles.. evoke feelings,
Triangles... danger, aggressive, dynamism.

Focal points.... who are we focusing on???

Depth..
characters relationship to the background
overlapping, change in size..

watched a quick clip on
shot types, camera movements

Think of head room... look room, nose room ... are they talking to someone? where are they standing, facing?
framing, don't cut off person at a joint
camera angle.. low, high.

composition
subject matter is important,
r3 divide scene into 3rds
close up, place eyes on intersecting line.
central framing,
leading lines..... using light to lead to focal point
if looking to the left, character should be on the right of the frame

cowboy shot....just below the crutch shot.
